RAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed Thursday morning in a crash on Romeo Plank Road in Ray Township.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said Brandon Kuzminski was on his 2009 Yamaha motorcyclist going through the intersection at 28 Mile Road when he was hit by a van turning left into the intersection.

Wickersham said it appears the van failed to yield the right-of-way to the motorcyclist.

Kuzminski is an Armada Township resident. He was wearing a helmet.

The van driver is a 36-year-old from Harrison Township.

Wickersham said alcohol and drugs don't appear to be a factor in the crash.
