Mumford high school student and choir member Brian Munden says, the students will work hard to give a musical voice to the man who was one of America's greatest voices.

"We the Mumford High School Chorale, are honored to have the opportunity to be in the presence of an icon such as Rev. Jesse Jackson and pay homage to Dr. Martin Luther King, who was a voice and liberator for all people." The Mumford student says Rev. Jackson will attend the event.

The chorale will perform "Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing" and a rendition of "This Little Light of Mine" arranged by Mumford English teacher Deborah Charaman.
