A man napping in a cornfield in Montana got quite the rude awakening when he was run over by a combine.
The 57-year-old man had been traveling the country by bus and decided to take a rest three rows deep in a field on the outskirts of Billings, sheriff's Lt. Kent O'Donnell told The Associated Press.
The farmer turned off his combine while harvesting the field Wednesday when he felt it hit something.
He heard screaming when he opened the door and called 911, the AP reported.
The man, whose clothes were sucked up into the machine, suffered cuts that required stitches and may need skin grafts but is "incredibly lucky," O'Donnell said.
