But That's None of My Business/Facebook

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. – A father has been charged after he posted a video on Facebook of himself boxing his 17-year-old son.

The father said his son had been misbehaving in school. In the video, the man says that his son walked out of his teacher's class and didn't call or tell him about what happened. He didn't come home.

"All day went by, he didn't call. So now it's discipline time because he didn't do what I told him to do. He chooses to do what he wants to do," he said.

We have to warn you, the video contains graphic content.

He said this is to teach his son a lesson.

"Discipline for not following my directions. Secondly, teaching him how to defend himself," he said.

The father turns the camera around and puts boxing gloves on his son.

"Let's go. You gonna cut up in school, this is what you gotta deal with when you come home," the father said.

You can hear the father talking through the punches and telling his son how to defend himself.

"The jab is to hide the punch," he said.

The father lays down several hard hits on the son. You can hear the teen start crying at one point in the video.

"I ain't worried about blood. I ain't worried about blood. Look at the wall," he said.

After a few minutes, they stop.

"Clean yourself up," the father said.

The video has been viewed millions of times, and the comments have been mixed.

"Child abuse, we'll see if he gets locked up for the video," Roshonda Roberts wrote.

"This is not wrong in my opinion," Kaleb Mesfin wrote.

"That was an excuse to beat his son. I totally disagree with this method. There has got to be a better way to discipline and figure out why his son is acting out and then correct the issue. Our children our human too," LaShun r Gambrell wrote.

"First off let's start by saying this isn't child abuse and he isn't going to jail. Secondly the father isn't trying to get internet fame, putting it online was just part of the punishment to also embarrass his son. Everybody is different, who says this  isn't the best method for that family," Terence Hall Jr. wrote.

The father, who has been identified as Tavis Sellers turned himself in and faces domestic assault and battery charges. His son has been removed from the home, reports say.
