DETROIT – The northbound lanes of I-75 at 7 Mile Road have reopened after closing for several hours Wednesday afternoon due to a crash involving a semi that hit a pedestrian overpass.
Police said the semi and four other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The semi driver was rushed to a hospital and is in critical condition.
Police said a man and his nephew who were in a silver vehicle were taken into custody after the nephew, who was driving on a suspended license, fled the scene but later returned.
They both have outstanding warrants.
