Detroit’s new mayor, its police chief and emergency manager are all scheduled to be part of Tuesday’s Financial Advisory Board meeting.
The 9-member board was put together in 2012 to make sure the city completed a list of cost-saving measures outlines in a consent agreement between the city and the state.
Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr is slated to talk about where the city’s financial restructuring and Chapter 9 bankruptcy case stands.
Police Chief James Craig is on the agenda to talk about the city’s latest public safety report.
Mayor Mike Duggan, along with this chief operation officer, will also be given time to speak.
