Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Witnesses told Local 4 that the police car was driving with lights flashing and sirens sounding when another driver either didn't see the police car or didn't know they had to stop, forcing the police car into a pole.

The intersection was shut down as police investigated the crash.
