University of Michigan campus police say there were three armed robberies early Thursday morning at different off-campus locations.
The robberies happened between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 900 block of West Washington, 1100 block of South Forest and near Cambridge Road and Olivia Avenue.
In all cases, police said a man approached victims brandishing a black handgun, taking wallets, phones and cash.
No one was hurt.
The description released by police of the robber is: A black man in his mid-20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black ski mask.
