DETROIT – Detroit police have made an arrest in the shooting of a three-year-old girl.
Vernon Coles, 20, was arrested Friday night.

According to the prosecutor, he is charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, two counts of felonious assault and one count felony firearm.
On August 14, police say Coles shot Amyria Parham in a car in the 19000 block on Cardoni on Detroit's east side.
Coles is expected to be arraigned on Saturday at 36th District Court.
