Authorities ID woman's body found at lake boat launch in southern Michigan as 63-year-old

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Authorities say they've identified a woman's body found at a boat launch at a lake in southern Michigan.

MLive.com reports the Jackson County sheriff's department says the woman whose body was found Saturday is a 63-year-old resident of the Addison area.

The department says her name isn't being released yet.

Sheriff's deputies went to Crispell Lake in Liberty Township after getting a call from outdoorsmen. Authorities are treating the case as a homicide.

The boat launch is surrounded by farms and forest, south of Jackson.
