Burned bodies found in an alley in southwest Detroit

DETROIT – Investigators in Detroit have a double murder mystery on their hands.

The bodies of a man and woman were found in an alley in a southwest Detroit neighborhood just after 3 a.m. Friday.

It happened in an alley between Florida and Proctor, just north of I-94.

Both the man and woman were bound with speaker wire, both bodies were burned, according to police sources.

Investigators tell Local 4, they believe the couple was killed elsewhere, and their bodies dumped in the alley and set on fire.

Sources tell Local 4 that the man is from Westland. He may have picked the woman up in this area before they were killed.

So far, police have no suspects. Investigators could be seen going door to door here looking for anyone that can help them with their investigation.
