The U.S. Coast Guard says one of its crews helped rescue two people who were thrown into Lake St. Clair when their personal watercraft ran aground.
The Coast Guard says the accident happened Thursday afternoon in the lake's middle channel. It says another vessel radioed the agency's St. Clair Shores station to say that two people were aboard and needed medical attention.
The Coast Guard says its boat brought the two ashore, where they received treatment for minor injuries. It says they were wearing life jackets.
