Crime Stoppers offers reward in missing Detroit mother case

Tamala Wells hasn't been seen since Aug. 6

DETROIT – A Detroit family is asking for help and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward to help bring home a missing mother.

Tamala Wells, 33, was last seen Aug. 6 as she left her home in the 19700 block of Appleton to visit a friend.

The white Grand Prix that Wells drove was found, but she wasn't.

Wells is described as black with shoulder-length hair in braids, 155 pounds and 5 feet 3 inches tall.

She is the mother of two.

Crime Stopper's reward is $1,000. Anonymous tips can be called into 800-SPEAK-UP.
