DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. -

A customer at a Dearborn Heights party store is recovering after being shot during a violent robbery.

A man wearing a bandanna across his face stormed into the Dearborn Heights Liquor store on Warren and Beech Daly roads Tuesday just after 10 p.m.

While inside, the man ordered everyone inside to the ground while he stole cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

The victim walked in during the robbery and was shot in the leg.

He's recovering at Providence Hospital.

No other details on the gunman or the victim were immediately available.
