Ayanna Kilpatrick says she owes $209,000 to a bank and $54,000 in back taxes. She owes Best Buy $5,000, Nordstrom more than $2,500, Macy's $1,069, Pier One $835 and Nieman Marcus more than $400.

She may soon lose her home which she purchased for $250,000 in 2003. She lists the value now at $70,000. She owes nearly $210,000.

Not mentioned in the bankruptcy filing is the money she allegedly was making from selling her brother's book. Her company allegedly was getting a portion of the profits. There are either no profits or the money from the book sales is hiding out somewhere else.

That could be revealed by the impending bankruptcy review.

A judge ruled last year that she and her company AKtion Enterprises couldn't profit from the sale of her brother's memoirs until he paid restitution tied to the criminal case.

She has declined comment on the bankruptcy.
