Family speaks out

Jackson's family is hoping someone will help with information.

"I want to look at all of my children and our seven-month old who will never get a chance to know her father," said Hollie. "Do it for them."

Gwendolyn Jackson is Marcel's 5-year-old daughter.

"Somebody please get that guy that killed my dad," said Jackson.

It's not everyday you hear a young girl like her plead to find her father's killer.

"I want my dad to come back so he can let me be safe," said Jackson.

Shooting remains unsolved

According to police, there was a fight inside of the club that night.  A man beating a woman was thrown out, but police say that man came back with a gun and Jackson was in the line of fire.

"My dad actually had faith in Detroit and he never gave up trying to defend and protect the people he loved," said Jala Jackson, Marcel's 15-year-old daughter. "My dad was never afraid to speak up and that's what I admired about him."

Two months later and this shooting still remains unsolved.  Detroit police, along with the Detroit 300, are still investigating this case as the gunman, who shot Marcel, is still on the streets.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP. There is a $25,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest.
