Farmington Hills family beating victim's condition upgraded
Rose Cipriano upgraded to serious condition; son Sal Cipriano still in critical condition
Two members members of the Cipriano family remain hospitalized after a deadly attack last month at their Farmington Hills home.
Rose Cipriano and her son, Sal Cipriano, both were listed in critical condition at Botsford Hospital since April 16. On Monday, Rose's condition was upgraded to serious condition. Sal remains in critical condition.
Three weeks ago, on the morning of April 16, Bob Cipriano, Rose's husband and Sal's father, was beaten to death inside the family's home.
Tucker Cipriano, 19, and his friend, 20-year-old Mitchell Young, are charged with murder in Tucker's father's death. Police say the duo are responsible for breaking into the home and beating the three family members with baseball bats.
Tucker's young sister and brother, Sal's twin, were also at the home during the attack. Police said the boy called 911 from a closet and his sister allowed police into the home where they reported finding a gruesome murder scene.
