Warren police were called out to a Hazmat situation Tuesday where they rescued an obese woman from her own apartment.
Rescue crews had to knock down a wall to free the woman from her apartment at Kings Point Apartments on Gloede Road north of 12 Mile Road.
The rescue began after the 41-year-old's woman's husband called saying she needed medical attention.
The woman, who weighs between 500 and 700 pounds, was reportedly covered in human waste, bugs and bedsores - creating a Hazmat situation.
Two of her children, ages 11 and 13, were at school at the time. 2-year-old twins were at the house. Child Protective Services were called in to check on the kids.
