EAST LANSING, Mich. -

A hospital says a high school student who accidentally fell from a sixth-floor window while playing a game of catch at a Michigan State University dormitory has been discharged.

Sparrow Hospital spokeswoman Laura Hall tells The Associated Press on Monday that she couldn't release additional details about 18-year-old Alexandra Pew of Ann Arbor, including when she was discharged. The update on Pew was reported Monday morning by the Lansing State Journal. Pew is a senior at Greenhills School.

What happened

Campus police say 18-year-old Lexi Pew fell from a window of North Case Hall on the East Lansing campus about 3 a.m. Sunday March 25th.

"I heard glass shatter then I saw something white falling down," said Ustina Shives who lives on the 6th floor of the dorm. "After I realized it was a human I knew I had to call 9-1-1." Pew is a senior at Greenhills School.
