Police say there could be other victims of assault by 18-year-old Joseph Miklos

NORTHVILLE, Mich. – A Northville man is behind bars for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy.

Miklos then allegedly forced the 11-year-old to the ground and then had unwanted sexual contact with him.

Police said the victim's father noticed his son was acting strange and couldn't sleep. When the father asked his son what had happened, the allegations against Miklos surfaced and police were notified.

Miklos turned himself in to police after a second-degree criminal sexual conduct warrant against him was issued.

He is due in court on Aug. 20 and could face 15 years in prison if convicted.

Police said Miklos is known to "hang around" several other youths in the same age group as the victim and are asking anyone to come forward with information that could lead to other victims.
