Police arrest Ann Arbor women for riding stolen Kawasaki

Sareasa Majeedah Shabazz stalled stolen bike out, arrested by police

FERNDALE, Mich. – Police arrested a 28-year-old Ann Arbor woman after a traffic stop in Ferndale revealed the motorcycle she was riding on was stolen.

Sareasa Majeedah Shabazz was stopped at Pinecrest Drive and Marshall Street for a traffic signal.

When the light turned green, the 2008 Kawasaki motorcycles she was on stalled out and attracted the attention of nearby police.

When police approached her, Shabazz told them she didn't have paperwork for the motorcycle.

The officer discovered the bike was reported stolen from Auburn Hills.

Shabazz was arrested and charged with receiving and concealing a stolen motorcycle.
