Police investigate string of pharmacy robberies in Canton Township

Police believe several crews are at work in Canton Township pharmacy robberies

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Canton Police Department is investigating a string of breaking and enterings of pharmacies that have happened since July 4th, 2012.

There have been five so far. They are primarily taking place between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m. The suspects usually break out a window on the door and only spend a few minutes in the store.

It appears there are several crews at work. One set of suspects consists of two white males and the other consists of two black males. The two white males appear to be approximately 5'6" in height. They are wearing dark clothing, ski masks, baseball caps and bandanas in order to conceal their identities. The two black males also wore dark clothing, baseball caps and bandanas in order to conceal their identities. In the latest B & E on August 24th, there were two white males and two black males similarly dressed. 

The two white males appear to be driving a light colored, 4 door, mid-sized sedan; possibly either a Pontiac G6 or Dodge Neon.

The Canton Police Department asks that anyone with information please call them at 734-394-5400 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800 SPEAK UP. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered through Crime Stoppers.
