Kalamazoo's public safety department is asking for help in identifying the remains of a woman found floating the Kalamazoo River.
Police in the western Michigan city said the body was pulled from the river on Thursday.
There was no identification on the body, and investigators are seeking help in learning who she was.
The woman is described as African American and about 5-feet-6-inches tall.
Authorities estimate her age at between the late teens and 30s.
She was wearing a purple sleeves collared blouse, dark blue jeans with cargo pockets and white sports shoes.
An autopsy hasn't found the cause of her death.
