DETROIT – Southfield police chased a vehicle into Detroit on Monday where the pursuit ended in a crash.
The chase originated in Southfield and ended on Detroit's northwest side.

The suspect was injured when his car crashed into a tree. He was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS.
There were no reports of officers being injured in the chase.
