PONTIAC, Mich. – Two teens have been charged in connection with the robbery and shooting death of a 52-year-old man last week in Pontiac.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said deputies found Donnie Howard Clark on a sidewalk Nov. 1 in the 200 block of Carriage Circle. He had been shot several times. He was taken to McLaren Hospital, but pronounced dead.
Deputies said Clark was captured on surveillance video just minutes before the shooting cashing a check at People's Market. He was cashing his Social Security check.
The video also showed two teens, 17-year-old James Watkins and 18-year-old Marquise McCray, watching Clark inside the store and then following him out.
Deputies said the teens assaulted Clark, stole his money and shot him to death. It was McCray who allegedly pulled out the gun and fired multiple shots at Clark, police said.
Over the weekend, Watkins turned himself in and McCray was arrested from a tip.
In court on Monday, a judge entered a not guilty plea on the teens' behalf. One of them had confessed in court.
Both were denied bond and are being held in the Oakland County Jail. If convicted, they could face the rest of their lives in prison.
A ceremony honoring Clark will be held Thursday near the area where he was gunned down.
"He loved everybody and everybody loved him," said Willie Lewis, a longtime friend of Clark's.
