Vigil held for missing Westland teens last seen in Detroit

Jacob Kudla, Jourdan Bobbish last seen Sunday on Detroit's east side

DETROIT – Friends, family and police are continuing a rally to find two missing teens from Westland.

Eighteen-year-old Jacob Kudla and his friend, 17-year-old Jourdan Bobbish, were last seen Sunday night when they left the Detroit home of Kudla's uncle.

Family members say the boys haven't been heard from since then.

Detroit police impounded Kudla's 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier that was found Monday in Detroit. Its sound system had been removed. Two men are in custody for the theft but police have not said they are related to the teens' disappearance.

A prayer vigil was held Thursday night at Livonia Churchill High School. More than 200 people gathered with candles burning to join in prayer for the two teens to return home safely.

"I don't know what to say," said Mike Bobbish, Jourdan's father. "I don't know what to say. It's humbling. It gives you hope and energy."
