WARREN, Mich. – A Warren man faces prison time and a possible lifetime designation as a registered sex offender after pleading guilty Tuesday to child pornography charges.
William Topping, 50, pleaded guilty to possessing thousands of images of adults engaged in sexual acts with children. The images were kept on a computer at his business.

Topping faces between 8 and 10 years in prison, a fine of anywhere from $15,000 to $150,000 and will be a registered sex offender for at least 20 years.
He will be sentenced in January.
