Warren police ID body found at Red Run Drain near Van Dyke
Victim is Thomas Hugeuenin, cause of death still pending
Warren police say they've identified a body that was found Monday afternoon at Red Run Drain at Van Dyke Avenue near 13 Mile Road.
The victim is 55-year-old Thomas Hugeuenin. Police said an autopsy will be done to determine how Hugeuenin died.
The Macomb County Drain Commissioner said the Red Run Drain starts underground in Oakland County and ends above ground in Macomb County. There is no grating in the drain.
Investigators are working to figure out if the man died where he was found in Warren or if he died further up the drain and floated to that point.
