DETROIT – Come wind or rain, it's Detroit residents like Shawn Adams who will be keeping a watch over the city's neighborhoods during Angels' Night.
Neighbors says what they fear the most are abandoned homes and buildings which could be set on fire. They are afraid the structures are too close to their homes and fire would spread quickly.
"I'll keep an extra eye out," said Adams. "It's where I live. I want to keep it safe."

The weather is a big factor. Firefighters welcome the cold and rain, but it's the wind that has everyone concerned.
Crews are on standby. Even some laid-off firefighters have been called back to help. Hundreds of volunteers across the city of Detroit are ready to patrol designated areas.
On Tuesday night, "angels" will be hard at work to keep the "devils" away.
"We have a lot of agencies that will canvass the whole city to make sure nothing bad happens," said Mayor Dave Bing.
