Man driving truck which hit woman's car admits he had been drinking alcohol

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -

Authorities say a woman and two young children have died after a head-on vehicle collision with a pickup truck.

The Van Buren County sheriff's department says 24-year-old Brittney Renee King of Bangor and two young passengers, 4-year-old Cassadi Berryhill and 2-year-old Kandice Berryhill, were killed following a Tuesday night crash in Geneva Township.

Another passenger in the car, 24-year-old Justin Berryhill, is hospitalized in stable condition.

Authorities say an Alabama man driving the truck told investigators he had been drinking alcohol.

He suffered broken bones, cuts and bruises.
