GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich. – Authorities say that nobody was injured in a fire in Grosse Pointe Farms overnight.
Only two kids were in the home at the time of the fire. They were old enough to be home alone and they made it out without injury.
The pets -- a dog and a turtle -- also made it safely outside from the fire.
The home is not a complete loss after the damage, authorities said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is not suspicious.
