DETROIT -

Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson broke his elbow Monday night when attending a fundraiser in Clinton Township.

Patterson, who is still recovering from injuries he suffered in an August 2012 car crash, was getting out of his car when he fell and broke his right elbow. Despite the injury, Patterson continued on into the fundraising event and greeted people.
