Oakland County Sheriff Bouchard sworn in for 4th term

Michael Bouchard re-elected 4th time since 1999 when he 1st took office

Oakland County Clerk Bill Bullard swears in Sheriff Michael Bouchard for his 4th four-year term.

PONTIAC, Mich. – Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard was sworn in Tuesday for his 4th four-year term as the county's sheriff.

Bouchard was appointed to office in 1999 and re-elected in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is one of the nation's largest. It has 1,200 full-time employees and an annual budget of $141 million.

Bouchard will swear in more than 1,500 full and part-time deputies for the term.
