Public safety unions expected to speak out

DETROIT – Monday, Judge Steven Rhodes is holding an objection hearing on Detroit's bankruptcy plan.

Two of the city's largest public safety unions are expected to speak out.

The Detroit Police Officers Association and Detroit Firefighters Association remain opposed to the city's debit-cutting plan.

Both groups are expected to object to the bankruptcy plan on various grounds.

The Police Command Officer Association and Police Lieutenants and Sergeants Association have both reached deal.
