1967: Boxer Riddick Bowe, a two-time world heavyweight champion, is born in Brooklyn, New York. Bowe was the first fighter to defeat Evander Holyfield, when he beat him in 1992 for the undisputed world heavyweight title, and became the first to knock Holyfield out when he beat him in their 1995 rematch. His professional record stands at 43-1-0, with his lone loss coming to Holyfield in 1993.
