1935: Actor Henry Gibson is born James Bateman in Germantown, Pennsylvania. He was best known as a cast member of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," for his roles in the movies "Nashville," "The Blues Brothers," "The 'Burbs," "Magnolia" and "Wedding Crashers" (pictured), and for his recurring role as Judge Clark Brown on the TV series "Boston Legal." He also voiced Wilbur the pig in the 1973 animated movie "Charlotte's Web." Gibson died of cancer at age 73 on Sept. 14, 2009.
