ANN ARBOR -

A 25-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the abdomen at an Ann Arbor bar.

The incident happened just after midnight Saturday night at the Rush Street bar located on the 300 block of South Main Street.

Ann Arbor Police say the incident started with two 25-year-old males in a physical altercation. One man pulled out a handgun and shot the other man in his abdomen.  

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition. No other people were injured in the incident.

The suspect was taken into police custody and is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
