NOVI, Mich. – A patient drove her vehicle into a dentist's office building Monday, throwing a dental hygienist across an examination room.
The patient temporarily was pinned in the vehicle. The dentist heard the vehicle slam into the building and rushed to help the woman move the vehicle.

The driver, hygienist and dentist all were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The office is at 10 Mile and Novi roads.
Novi police are investigating.
