DETROIT – Consumer Reports is out with its list of top pet peeves patients have about seeing the doctor.
Doctors who cannot clearly explain a problem was the top gripe among patients. Along with that followed long waits for test results, rushed office visits and difficulty getting an appointment when sick.

People over age 65 were more bothered by filling out lots of paperwork than younger folks. Those in western states had a harder time than other respondents when doctors discouraged the use of alternative medicine.
