DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – A peacock is on the loose in Dearborn Heights.
The bird is not really causing any problems but he's been surprising homeowners in the neighborhood when he shows up to hang out.

"It's just a beautiful bird up on my roof," said Sandy Vanassche. "There have been sightings this week. I knew it existed."
The peacock normally lives in the courtyard of Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn. However, because of construction at the school it flew away.
The school has been trying to get the peacock back. However, efforts to do that have been unsuccessful so far.
