Local 4 Sports confirms that Atlanta Hawks free agent Josh Smith and the Pistons have agreed to a four-year, $56 million deal to join Detroit.

Pistons General Manager Joe Dumars made getting Smith a priority for the team and he got the deal done Saturday morning.

Smith is one of four players with at least 10,000 points, 5,000 rebounds and 2,000 assists since 2004-05. The others to achieve this include LeBron James, Pau Gasol and Kevin Garnett.

Smith is a 6'9" forward who averaged 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the Atlanta Hawks last season.
