A plane made an emergency landing Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 on frozen Lake Huron near Mackinac Island.

A single engine plane with five people onboard made an emergency landing Monday on frozen Lake Huron near Mackinac Island.

No one was injured when the small plane, a Piper, made the landing about 9:35 a.m.

Everyone who was onboard was removed by snowmobilers, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

The flight's origin and original destination are not known at this time.
