Police arrest one of Oakland County Sheriff's most wanted fugitives

Arrest made after police received tip on July 30

DETROIT – The Oakland County Sheriff's Office has arrested on of its most wanted fugitives.

After receiving a tip on July 20, the U.S. Marshall's Office and the detectives from the Sheriff Office's Fugitive Apprehension Team found and arrested Nino Denzel-Wesley Red at the Lafayette Towers in Detroit.

He was arrested for the assault and armed robbery of a 16-year old girl in January in the parking lot of the Kroger store at 8 Mile Road and Wyoming Road in Royal Oak Township. Red was one of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office's 10 Most Wanted.

Red was arraigned on Tuesday on one count of armed robbery.
