PORT HURON, Mich. – St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon says a drug task force has shut down biggest meth lab ever uncovered in the county.
Donnellon said the task force conducted months of investigations into the production and sale of meth in Port Huron and executed a search warrant on Tuesday in the 1200 block of Pearl Street.

The search revealed a large-scale methamphetamine operation.
Approximately $1000 worth of meth, more than 50 containers used to store meth, along with precursors and components used to manufacture the drug were seized.
Five men, ages 53, 32, 31, 28 and 27 and one woman, age 53, all from Port Huron, were arrested at the scene and transported to the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center. They face charges that include operating-maintaining a methamphetamine laboratory, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of analogs and resisting and obstructing police.
"This is the biggest meth lab we have uncovered in St. Clair County," Donnellon said. "Meth continues to be a huge problem in our community. We encourage citizens to contact the Drug Task Force if they have any information regarding meth labs anywhere in the county."
