DETROIT – Jim Meilenner drove to Detroit from South Carolina this week for his mother-in-law's funeral.
He brought his wife's ashes with him to share with family members. However, his car was stolen with the ashes inside.

The family hopes those ashes can be found and turned over to the Edward Swans Funeral Home in Madison Heights.
