EASTPOINTE, Mich. – A woman's death in Eastpointe is under investigation.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was found dead in a home on Shakespeare Avenue. Eastpointe police determined this is a suspicious death as they continue to investigate.
Police said there are no obvious signs of trauma and an autopsy is needed to identify a cause of death.
A man at the home, who is the woman's fiancée, was taken into custody on unrelated outstanding warrants. He called 911 to report he found her dead a the home.
