Police looking for missing 66-year-old man

Damon Ford last seen Friday night

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 66-year-old man who wandered away from home Friday night. Police say Damon Ford was last seen at around 5:30 p.m. at his home in the 2300 block of Cedarcliff in Ypsilanti Township.

A family member left Ford's home at around 5:30 p.m. Friday and returned at 10:45 p.m. When they returned, they noticed that one of the family's cars and Ford were both missing.

Police say Ford may be confused about where he is. He is likely driving a white Ford Flex with the license plate number DFX8812.

Late Friday night, a driver in West Bloomfield called police to report an erratic driver. The car in question was gone when police arrived, but the description and plate number matched that of the car Ford is suspected of driving.

Ford is 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 138 pounds.
