Man jumps over counter at pharmacy in Harrison Twp. to steal 3 bottles of cough syrup

Man threatens pharmacist while searching for bottles, police say

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A robbery investigation is underway after a man stole medication Friday from a CVS pharmacy in Harrison Township.

According to Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham, a man jumped the counter of the pharmacy and took three bottles of cough syrup with codeine.

The man implied he had a gun, but the weapon was never seen, authorities said. The man also threatened the pharmacist while he searched for the bottles.

He was described as black, possible early 20s and is about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was seen getting into a silver Chrysler Pacifica.

No one was injured.
