PORT HURON, Mich. – Murder and assault charges have been filed against a man who police said fatally stabbed a 45-year-old woman in her Port Huron apartment.
Regina Renee Reyna was found dead June 25 on Court Street.

Reyna had several stab wounds to her torso and appeared to have been deceased "for some time," police said.
Aaron Lemont Swift, 41, was identified as a person of interest in Reyna's death and taken into custody later that day.
He was arraigned Sunday and is being held without bond.
