ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – A barricaded gunman situation that happened Sunday has ended peacefully, police say.
The incident closed Ten Mile Road in both directions between Greater Mack Avenue and Harper Avenue in St. Clair Shores.
Police received a call Sunday morning from a woman's friend who said she was being held against her will inside the home on Ten Mile Road.
The woman was released and the gunman surrendered hours later, police said.
During the situation, police asked neighbors and those living in the community to remain indoors until the situation was resolved.
